POST 5 - " TV SHOWS AND SERIES "

 Hi everyone! Today I’m going to talk about my favorite series.

I have to say that I watched a lot of series to be honest, so it’s kind of difficult for me to decide just for one. But well, I must say that one of my favorite series is Anne with an E. I really love this series because tells the story of an orphan girl called Anne Shirley. A girl with an incredible imagination, amazing dreams and values, she is kind, honest, and so innocent! This story is situated in XIX century, where mans ruled the world and women were supposed to stay at home with the kids. Anne is intelligent, and ambitious. She wants to be happy and successful too. Doesn't exist difference between boys and girls for her, and that is what make her and incredible character. And her point of view is absolutely modern and revolutionary for the people who live with her. See how she influence in their lives and their archaic traditions is amazing.

 

The kind of stories I love are the ones where the protagonist is a badass woman. It always inspires me to keep going and never give up. But I need to admit that I prefer to read books about that kind of stories, it’s a thousand times better.  

I would like to see Gambit Queen. I haven’t seen that series yet because I’m waiting to finish my tasks and exams first but I hope to do it soon!

Post 4 - My Future Job

     In the future, the kind of job I would like to have is one related to the area of tourism. I imagine myself working and traveling around the world helping with innovative and interesting ideas about sustainable tourism, conscious travelers, alternatives to protect the environment, and position Chile as one of the greatest attractions in South America.

I imagine working outdoors, I’m a very enthusiastic and hardworking woman. I can’t imagine myself just sitting in a desk in front of a computer, I know I’m capable of do so much more.

I would love to travel in my job. Not because of the reason of “free vacations” like a lot of public workers used to think it was. I would love to travel because its an incredible opportunity to learn about other cultures and traditions of places you’d never imagined before. And these opportunities must be beneficial to create awesome projects to promote tourism and help people who work in that area.

If we talk about salary, I think the most of us would like to get paid enough to satisfice our necessities and our recreational needs too. But to be honest, I’d like to have one that can bring me economic stability in my life, and with that be able to help my family and friends with everything they need.

Currently I am studying Public Administration and I would love to follow the area I talked before, even when I sound so excited about this kind of job I have to admit that isn’t the only job I aspire to work someday. Maybe that is the reason because I haven’t considered a specific magister yet.

But anyways, I don't worry about that right now, I’ll know it when time's arrive.

POST 3 "MY FAVORITE MOVIE"

 I must admit that one of my favorites movies is Shrek. I remember that I used to love it when I was just a little girl, also I had a puppet from Shrek and my twin sister the one from Burro. I think I still loving this movie because it’s so funny. I mean every time I watch it again; I understand something new and the subliminal messages are hilarious.

 

I think that the kind of movies I like most are the ones of action, like “Transformers” or “Avatar”. But its hard to say, because the ones based on books or real life are also my weakness like “The Help”, “Colonia” or “The Theory of Everything”. I am the kind of person who things that the soundtrack of a movie is crucial to decide if the movie its worthy or not.

The last movie I saw was “Gifted”. It’s a story of an intellectually gifted seven-year-old who becomes the subject of a custody battle between her maternal uncle and maternal grandmother. It’s a beautiful story with a big message: you can’t decide in others life. I recommend it!!! it’s moving and makes you think about what we are willing to sacrifice for freedom and love .
